We are seeking highly skilled and experienced psychological therapists to join our Staff Psychological Wellbeing Service in a unique and varied role. As a key member of our team, you will make a meaningful difference to NHS staff, work in a supportive team environment, and benefit from flexible working arrangements.
The posts are based across our three counties and may require some travel to provide a service from more than one site. We offer a blended model of engagement, including face-to-face work and the use of virtual platforms, so some home working can be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour main focus will be the provision of expert short-term psychological therapy, but you will also have the opportunity to contribute to team and group interventions and to the development and facilitation of psycho-educational programmes.
You will be confident to assess and manage issues such as risk, safeguarding, and conflicts of interest, whilst being able to access support within our team and to consult with specialist advisory services in the Health Board.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for individuals with a recognised professional qualification in Counselling or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to at least Diploma level, current membership of an appropriate professional body, and accreditation with an appropriate professional body.
Substantial post-qualification experience in multi-disciplinary adult client work, including brief-focused work and assessment, is essential. You will also need to be able to travel in a timely way across the Health Board as needed and work hours flexibly in accordance with service requirements.
