Senior Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children's Therapy Service, you will work closely with colleagues in health, education, and social care to provide a child-centred service.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assessing and treating children and young people with communication needs, working in a variety of locations including clinics, nurseries, and schools. You will also contribute to the development of clinical pathways and provide supervision and support to junior staff.
Requirements
- Professional degree or equivalent in Speech & Language Therapy
- Current Professional Registration with HCPC
- Evidence of formal training or self-study to postgraduate level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage children with challenging behaviors
