Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children and young people aged 0-19 with complex communication needs.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans to meet the needs of clients.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff to ensure high standards of practice.
  • Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Current Professional Registration with HCPC.
  • Evidence of formal training or self-study to postgraduate level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
