Spire Healthcare is a leading independent hospital group in the UK, delivering high-quality care to patients.

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Spire Nottingham. As a HR Advisor, you will support the hospital with all aspects of HR, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and managers.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes 35 days annual leave (rising to 37 days) inclusive of bank holidays, comprehensive private medical insurance, and a generous company pension scheme.

Job Description:

  • Support the hospital with all aspects of HR, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and managers.
  • Manage multiple priorities, ensuring accurate and confidential management of all colleague HR files and personal information.
  • Be an advocate of wellbeing, promoting relevant tools, support mechanisms, and communication channels.
  • Actively manage absence within the hospital, supporting managers in managing absent colleagues.
  • Provide high-quality consistent HR advice, supporting managers in performance management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience as a HR Advisor or in another HR based role
  • Knowledge of HR functions and systems; pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development for example
  • An understanding of employment laws and disciplinary / grievance procedures
