Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Nottinghamshire County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of frontline employees and ensuring that our customers receive an effective Building Cleaning and Caretaking service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement performance management plans for designated frontline posts.
  • Assist the Account Manager in recruiting and maintaining staffing levels through the mobilization of mobile and cover staff.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure standards are maintained and contract requirements are met.
  • Work with the Account Manager to ensure all contracts remain financially viable throughout contract periods.
  • Meet with customers to ensure effective quality service delivery methods and contract management.
  • Cover for absent Building Cleaning and Caretaking posts as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in supervising within a facilities service contract management environment.
  • High levels of flexibility, customer care, and client management skills.
  • Experience of supervising physical and human resources to achieve contract requirements and meet financial targets.
  • Experience in Building Cleaning and Caretaking roles.
