Job Overview

Browne Jacobson has a long history of working with schools and academies, providing comprehensive and pragmatic HR advice and support. We are seeking a highly skilled HR Consultant to join our team and work with clients to deliver exceptional HR services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advisory services to clients, including guidance on employment law, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies to support clients' goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with sector developments and changes in employment law to ensure clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Lead on complex casework, including investigations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver training to clients on HR-related topics.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including generating new business leads and delivering pitches.

Requirements

  • Associate CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
  • Previous experience of business development and client-facing work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and demanding workloads.
