This is a full-time role for an experienced Stock Controller to join our client's team in Leeming Bar. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a stock/inventory role from a manufacturing/engineering/distribution business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing and monitoring all inventory stock levels on the ERP system, maximising the business cash flow by ensuring inventory is not higher than required.
A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive 28 days + Bank holidays, increasing over time.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage and monitor all inventory stock levels on the ERP system.
- Collate data from the production team on a daily basis to enter onto the ERP.
- Conduct monthly stock take and monitor levels with the production team.
- Receive purchasing requests from the rest of the business, ordering stock and dealing with any supplier issues that may arise.
- Raising purchase orders for each request.
- Previous Experience:
- Previous experience of working within a stock/inventory role from a manufacturing/engineering/distribution business.
- Previous use of an ERP system such as SAP or any other.
- Full Time Role: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Car Parking Available: Yes
