Vehicle Management Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Transport De-Briefer in Northallerton, DL6 2PJ. This position involves coordinating various aspects of our transportation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking thorough de-briefings of returning vehicles to ensure optimal maintenance.
- Regularly inspecting vehicles for damages and reporting any issues found.
- Liaising with our vehicle maintenance providers to maintain the highest standards of vehicle condition.
- Efficiently managing Vehicle On-Return (VOR) processes.
- Coordinating with drivers regarding daily activities.
- Uploading data from tachograph machines and vehicles into transportation systems.
- Scanning return and outgoing items accurately to track inventory.
- Developing and implementing effective collection and delivery plans.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to site success.
- Booking collections for customers and handling their delivery paperwork.
- Resolving customer queries and ensuring timely completion of delivery documentation.
