Maintenance Operative

At The Smartlist, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Bridgnorth. This full-time permanent position involves delivering exceptional services and fostering partnerships with the community to shape an exciting future.
Main Responsibilities:
- We require the successful candidate to carry out routine maintenance tasks, repair and upkeep of our buildings and asset portfolio.
- Regular building checks are necessary, including maintaining a register of findings.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planned works schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conducting regular inspections is crucial to identifying general maintenance needs.
About You:
- You should have experience working on asset maintenance and property upkeep.
- Horticultural or grounds maintenance experience would be beneficial.
- A proven track record in using vehicles, machinery, and handheld tools is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are required for effective public interaction and community engagement.
- Familiarity with health and safety guidelines and safe practices is a must.
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary up to NJC ScP 7 (£22,584), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Working Hours:
This role requires a 37-hour workweek, with occasional weekend and evening shifts.
