Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer - MedTech Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at The Engage Partnership Recruitment. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in developing and scaling a robust data platform that powers a groundbreaking remote patient monitoring system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build high-performance backend services and APIs using Python and C++
  • Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB) to ensure seamless data integration
  • Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins/CircleCI) to streamline development and deployment processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in software development

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in backend development with Python and C++ (or a strong alternative)
  • Proficiency in database management and administration
  • Expertise in DevOps practices and cloud computing (AWS)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to drive collaboration and innovation
  • Experience in the MedTech industry is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques is a plus
