As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure backend systems using PHP, MySQL, and AWS. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to align on requirements and deliver a user experience that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop high-quality backend systems using PHP, MySQL, and AWS
* Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize technical requirements
* Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the development of RESTful APIs and web applications
* Ensure the health and performance of our systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues as needed
* Mentor and support junior team members, setting the technical standard for the team

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in backend development using PHP and MySQL
* Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
* Experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation)
* Commercial experience with Linux, Docker, Docker Compose, Git, and DynamoDB
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
