Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be working alongside product owners, scrum masters, and QA engineers to build cloud-based enterprise products using a modern stack of Python, Django, MySQL, AWS, Redis, and Kafka.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Python and Django
  • Current or previous experience working in FinTech/Financial Services related domains

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 to £90,000, as well as the option to work remotely from anywhere in the UK. We also have offices spread across the country, providing the opportunity to participate in monthly socials and team off-sites.
