About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring North Tyneside. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care that respects and protects individuals' dignity
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches and support individuals to meet their outcomes
  • Connect individuals to their communities and access local support and services
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.00 (drivers) / £11.50 (walkers)
  • 45p per mile for drivers and 20p per mile for cyclists
  • A comprehensive induction training program, including classroom-based training and online modules
  • Opportunities for training and development, including funded Level 2 and other accredited courses
  • A fully funded DBS check and paid holiday pay
  • An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for 24-hour support and guidance
Requirements
  • Punctuality, organization, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early starts, late evenings, and weekends
