About the Role:

As a Young Persons Worker, you will be working closely with young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse or mental health. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, guidance, and education to help them navigate their challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs of young people and developing personalized care plans
  • Delivering a range of interventions, including counseling, education, and support groups
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to young people and their families
  • Conducting regular reviews and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of interventions

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of substance misuse and mental health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with young people and their families
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in a similar role or with a related field
