Job Opportunity: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food experiences for our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations
  • Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes
  • Listen and act on customer feedback to continuously improve our food services
  • Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Represent Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image
  • Monitor inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked
  • Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have experience supervising a team
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Have a flexible approach to working
