Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for leading and supporting others to deliver exceptional care?

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Lead - Speech and Language Therapist to join our Integrated Therapy Team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. In this critical role, you'll lead and support the strategic and operational delivery of our speech and language therapy services across our education and care settings.

You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young adults with complex speech, language, and communication needs, designing and implementing high-quality therapeutic training, and providing supervision, training, and development opportunities for junior therapists and assistants.

As a Band 8a role, you'll shape the direction of our OT and SaLT services, influencing lives and shaping futures. You'll work closely with the Therapies Director to expand and enhance our SALT/OT provision, contributing to recruitment, resource management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and young adults with diverse speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Design, monitor, and implement high-quality therapeutic training to therapists and team members.
  • Provide supervision, training, and development opportunities for junior therapists and assistants.
  • Work closely with the Therapies Director to expand and enhance our SALT/OT provision.
Requirements
  • A recognised post-graduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy along with HCPC Registration.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, with at least 1 year's experience in supervising or managing a team.
  • Good IT skills – We'll train you on how to use our systems, but it would help if you had a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • A full driving licence.
