About the Role:
At Newcross Healthcare, we are looking for dedicated and skilled Community Care Workers to join our team in Tiverton, North Devon, and Somerset. As a Community Care Worker, you will be delivering care that is truly person-centred, including personal care and support, companionship, live-in care, and promoting independence.
You'll Do:
- Personal Care and Support: Assist adults with daily tasks to ensure comfort and dignity
- Companionship: Be a friendly face and a comforting presence
- Live-in Care: Provide 24/7 support for those who need it most
- Promoting Independence: Empower clients to lead fulfilling lives with as much autonomy as possible
- Medication Support: Ensure safe and timely administration of medication
- Specialist Clinical Care: Handle complex clinical needs with expertise and confidence
- Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Offer compassionate care during life's most challenging moments
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
- The ability to assist clients with limited mobility comfortably
- The right to work in the UK
- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
- Experience with complex care (desired, but not essential as full training will be provided)
