Senior Support Worker

At the CareTech Group, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to young people with complex needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and contributing to the positive outcomes of our residents.
As a member of our residential childcare team, you will be responsible for leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring that our team of Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with all mandatory learning and assisting with their individual development. You will also be responsible for communicating with the on-site team, raising awareness of individual care plans, and maintaining accurate written records.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to young people. You will have a strong desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Younger Peoples workforce, and 12 months senior experience working in a Residential setting is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager
- Ensuring that Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with all mandatory learning
- Communicating with the on-site team and raising awareness of individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate written records
- Contributing to team and staff meetings to facilitate good communication and staff development
We offer a competitive rate of pay, completely free on-shift meals and parking, and a range of benefits including training and development plans, 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, and paid sickness leave. We also offer additional benefits such as overtime, on-call, sleep-in, and disturbance rates, as well as a casual dress code and company pension.
Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour (including Sleep-in) on a one on two off or two on four off basis.
