About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Lead to join our team at Eden Blake Procurement & Supply Chain Search. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end strategic procurement of goods and services, with a focus on garage/workshop repair services and spare parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Manage and optimize the procurement process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain a structured supplier performance management program to ensure contractual standards and commercials are met

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of £60,000 to £65,000
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • 5% matched pension contributions
  • Bonus potential up to £5,000
  • Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office

Requirements:

  • Proven background in leading end-to-end procurement activity, including category sourcing strategies and supplier performance management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build rapport with people at all levels of a business
  • Strong track record of savings delivery and experience of robust supplier performance management
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in either Birmingham or Chippenham
