We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Lead to join our team at Eden Blake Procurement & Supply Chain Search. This is a strategic role that will play a key part in the evolution of our service offering in a rapidly changing landscape.
What's on Offer?
- Competitive salary range £60,000 to £65,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- 5% matched pension contributions
- Bonus potential up to £5,000
- Hybrid working arrangement (Mon and Fri from home - Tues to Thurs in the office in either Chippenham or Birmingham)
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end strategic procurement of a range of goods and services, including garage/workshop repair services and spare parts. This represents a significant amount of spend, circa £50m, in an area that is ever evolving. You will also be responsible for implementing a structured supplier performance management programme to ensure contractual standards and commercials are being met.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a proven background in leading end-to-end procurement activity, including creation and implementation of category sourcing strategies. You will also need to have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, a strong track record of savings delivery, and experience of robust supplier performance management.
