Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Events Representative to join our team as a self-employed contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales and Events Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending various local events, such as school fetes, gyms, park runs, church fairs, and local business networking events, to promote The Massage Company's services.
  • Researching and identifying new event opportunities to sell Massage Therapy vouchers.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and exceeding them through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Coordinating and setting up promotional materials at each event.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in face-to-face sales and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Compensation

This is a self-employed role, offering 15-25 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £15 plus commission. The annual salary pro-rata is £36,000 (based on 40 hours per week).
