Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Turbine LIDAR Performance Analyst to join our team at Eden Scott. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of advanced LIDAR technologies for wind turbine performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement LIDAR Performance Methods
    • Design and develop new LIDAR power performance methods using CW lidar measurements, building on existing techniques and industry standards.
    • Develop and implement LIDAR power performance induction zone methods using CW rotor equivalent/effective measurements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with our Director of Turbine-Mounted LIDAR to drive the development of new LIDAR technologies and methodologies.
    • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop analytical tools and solutions for wind turbine performance optimization.
  • Provide Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical project management leadership for allocated turbine-lidar projects and activities.
    • Develop and deliver technical presentations and reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments
    • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in wind turbine performance optimization.
    • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in wind turbine performance optimization, LIDAR technology, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of LIDAR technology and its applications in wind turbine performance optimization.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
