We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Espirita. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic patient examinations using ultrasound equipment, capturing, analyzing, and recording images and patient data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing diagnostic patient examinations using ultrasound equipment
  • Capturing, analyzing, and recording images and patient data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Educating patients and families about the procedures and answering any questions they may have
  • Adhering to safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Abdominal Ultrasound preferred
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology Ultrasound experience
  • Ability to scan Abdominal, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Small parts, DVT, Carotid, and vascular scans on both inpatients and outpatients
