About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join our team at Trident International Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our accounts payable processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the purchase ledger on a daily basis
  • Ensure invoices are uploaded and processed promptly and coded correctly
  • Resolve issues relating to invoices and payments
  • Ensure smooth operation of the weekly payment run
  • Process manual payments on the online banking system
  • Manage the accounts inbox and ensure an exceptionally high level of service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Improve and refine existing accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Manage the issuing of supplier remittances
  • Assist the treasury function
  • Process accounting data onto the property systems
  • Prepare and distribute reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting, legal and regulatory bodies
  • Support the wider accounts team
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in property/real estate is essential
  • Experience of running the accounts payable function is required
  • Experience of using a property management system such as QUBE/YARDI/TRAMPS is desirable
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification is advantageous
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends
