Job Title: Planner/Senior Planner

The Opportunity:

Our client, a renowned housebuilder, is seeking a skilled Planner/Senior Planner to join their team in Suffolk. This role offers the chance to manage residential-led developments, from identifying new opportunities to securing planning permissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new development opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including supporting documents.
  • Manage the promotion of sites through Local Plans.
  • Project manage consultants and design teams.
  • Organise and lead consultation events.
  • Handle planning appeals and discharge of planning conditions.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in the Private Sector or Local Authority.
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified, RTPI qualified, or working towards it.
  • Skills: Strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
