Early Years Education Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified teacher to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department as a Reception class teacher. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using the Sounds-Write phonics program to support literacy development in children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and investigation.
- Collaborate effectively with the EYFS Lead, classroom Teaching Assistant, and 1:1 Teaching Assistant to meet the needs of all learners.
- Use guided play to develop essential skills in children, ensuring play is both purposeful and productive.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education.
- A strong understanding of purposeful play and its role in child development.
- Experience using phonics programs, preferably Sounds-Write.
- Demonstrated ability to support children with additional needs.
- A passion for fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in young children.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
