Job Description

\

We are seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to lead a vibrant Early Years class and contribute to the development of our EYFS curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phonics programs, particularly Sounds Write, and be able to create engaging environments that foster exploratory play.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Reception class with a focus on EYFS curriculum.\
  • D Deliver high-quality phonics lessons using the Sounds Write programme.\
  • Create an engaging environment that fosters exploratory and investigative play.\
  • Provide a balance of structured and free play activities to enhance children's learning and development.\
  • Closely collaborate with the EYFS Lead and support staff to ensure inclusive learning opportunities.\
  • Support children with additional needs while ensuring all learning opportunities are inclusive and accessible.\

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Early Years.\
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in daily practice.\
  • Experience in using phonics programs, particularly Sounds Write.\
  • A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching.\
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children.\
