Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Briarwood Medical Centre.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To promote a positive and professional image of Briarwood Medical Centre through efficient and courteous interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  2. To maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in accordance with practice policy.
  3. To answer telephone calls, make and cancel appointments as necessary, and handle all enquiries in a professional manner.
  4. To register new patients, retrieve medical records, and administer tasks as assigned by the Practice Manager.
  5. To ensure the smooth operation of the front desk, maintaining high standards of administration and customer service.
  6. To work effectively as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of the practice.
  7. To participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  8. To maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
  9. To perform other administrative tasks as required to support the practice.

About the Role

This is a part-time, permanent position working a minimum of 30 hours per week. The salary for this role is £11.88 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.
