About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVDC SCADA/HMI Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our automation systems for HVDC stations, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop SCADA and HMI systems for HVDC stations, including documentation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery meets their requirements and standards.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure for networks and systems to support operations.
  • Travel abroad to participate in building power stations and contribute to the development of our global business.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to design and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in network equipment, Microsoft operating systems, and database management.
  • Experience with scripting languages, automation technologies, and security systems.
  • Knowledge of international electrical standards and experience with HMI application development.
