This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to collaborate from your home office as well as our designated locations.

Your Role as an HVDC SCADA/HMI Engineer

In this position, you will be responsible for designing automation systems tailored for power plants and transmission networks. Your tasks will include:

  • Creating SCADA and HMI systems for HVDC stations, overseeing the process from documentation through to commissioning.
  • Establishing resilient networks and systems to support global operations.
  • Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure project delivery meets high standards.
  • Sharing best practices with engineering peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engaging in international travel to assist in the construction of power stations and tackle complex challenges.
  • Exercising autonomy in organizing your daily responsibilities and embracing innovative problem-solving.

Qualifications Required:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Strong communication skills in English for effective customer interaction.
  • Experience with networking equipment, Microsoft operating systems, databases, scripting languages, and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with security systems, intrusion detection, and high-availability solutions.
  • Understanding of international electrical standards and HMI application development.
