About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK Ltd. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients to various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from healthcare settings, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in challenging situations.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transfers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient transport and mental health care.

Requirements:

  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with a minimum of 12 months' driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, working 40.3 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, with opportunities for overtime and shift enhancements.

Salary: £12.37 per hour, with annual remuneration starting from £26,593.80 based on expected hours.
