Job Title: Mental Health Transport Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Mental Health Transport Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently to their destinations. This is a rewarding role that requires a passion for delivering exceptional care and a commitment to making a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Transport patients safely and efficiently to their destinations
* Provide excellent customer service and ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during transport
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

* Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
* Enhanced DBS certificate
* Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
* Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst delivering genuine care
* Demonstrate resilience
* Able to work as part of a team effectively
* Excellent attention to detail

Working Hours:

* 40.3 hours contract
* Worked on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, 4 days 5am-6pm and 4 nights 7pm-7am – or cross-over shift continuous working pattern 09:30am – 10pm

Salary:

* Blended rate of £12.37p/h (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts)
* Annual Remuneration to start from £26,593.80, based on expected hours

Shift Pay Enhancements:

* Available for some call-in or overtime shifts

Background & Experience:
