Head of Facilities Management and Capital Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd as a Head of Facilities Management and Capital Projects. This is a 13-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement a strategic overview of FM operations, ensuring regular review of contract management and building-related duties.
- Provide strategic direction and lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and review of the Council's corporate health and safety strategy and policies.
- Develop and implement effective arrangements for Facilities Management in all premises occupied by the Council, its staff, or partners.
- Present timely, robust, and relevant information and advice to Members and Officers in relation to the Council's property and land assets.
**Requirements:**
- CIWFM or similar professional accreditation.
- Significant experience working in local or central government or another major public sector organization.
- Significant experience working/negotiating directly with senior officers and Members across the Council and external partners.
**Important Notes:**
- Candidates should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Candidates should have the right to work in the UK.
