Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of the commercial department, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, conducting accurate cost estimates, and providing timely cost advice to clients.

About CV Library

We are an established Main contractor with years of experience specialising in retail, commercial, and logistics construction. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cost Estimation: Conduct accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice.
  3. Risk Analysis: Analyze contracts, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  4. Subcontractor Management: Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiate favorable terms.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, quantity surveying).
  • Proven experience in retail construction cost estimation or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
