Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage multiple projects simultaneously for one of our key retail clients in Burton on Trent.

This is an office-based role where you will serve as the commercial lead, responsible for managing project costs, providing accurate cost advice, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate cost estimates and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration with project managers and engineers to provide timely cost advice.
  • Analysis of contracts, identification of risks, and proposal of mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluation of subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiation of favorable terms.
  • Monitoring of project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
