About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the functional capacity of individuals and providing accurate and unbiased reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity and provide detailed reports.
  • Use your expertise to identify and assess the impact of impairments on an individual's ability to perform daily activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical and functional assessment guidelines and best practices.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
Requirements
  • At least one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with a valid PIN and no restrictions.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
  • Ability to work efficiently, produce timely reports, and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
  • A valid driving license or access to transportation to attend the nearest assessment centre.
