We are seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of our assessment team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of PIP claimants' health conditions and disabilities, and providing comprehensive reports detailing their ability to carry out daily living activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or paramedicine, with excellent observational and communication skills. You will be able to work independently, with strong time management and computer skills, and be able to balance empathy with impartiality.

As a Functional Assessor, you will be required to conduct face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments, and create detailed reports of your findings. You will also be responsible for analyzing and interpreting clinical information and supporting evidence, and creating comprehensive reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant.

We offer a fully paid 12-week training program, with ongoing mentorship and support. You will also have access to excellent career development opportunities, and a starting salary of £38,500 per annum, with a 5% retention bonus.

To be considered for this role, you must have one year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic, and be fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body. You must also have excellent IT skills, including the ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute, and be able to remotely access systems such as MS Teams.
