Senior Student Funding Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work with UCL's Student Funding team as a Senior Student Funding Officer. Based in the Postgraduate Funding sub-team, you will be responsible for managing specific postgraduate Masters (PGT) award schemes, from promotion to payment, as well as post-award administration and running the PGT scholar community event programme.
Key Responsibilities- Manage postgraduate Masters (PGT) award schemes, including promotion, payment, and post-award administration
- Run the PGT scholar community event programme
- Work closely with the Student Funding Manager to develop policy and identify process efficiencies
- Handle student and staff enquiries, participate in open day events, and build links with internal and external stakeholders
- Line manage one of the Student Funding Officers and deputise for the Student Funding Manager when necessary
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working in Higher Education in a busy student-facing administrative office environment, as well as experience of running a scholarship award selection process and a working knowledge of student finance systems.
You will also need to be proactive, able to work independently when necessary, and have a practical approach to problem-solving. Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines are essential, as well as excellent IT skills, including the ability to maintain databases and online content with accuracy.
