We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Water Utility Workers. This role offers a long-term career opportunity with a dynamic organisation, where you can develop your skills and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain health and safety standards, conducting regular checks on vehicles, equipment, and sites.
  • Excavate holes safely to avoid damaging underground utility apparatus.
  • Manhandle materials and plant with care.
  • Install infrastructure to high standards, adhering to good jointing and hygiene practices.
  • Drive Company vehicles responsibly, following road traffic regulations.
  • Operate mobile plant and maintain site tidiness and security.
  • Install and maintain roadworks to 'Chapter 8' standard.
  • Interact with the public, clients' representatives, and other officials regarding Company business.

Requirements:

  • NCO / NVQ Qualification.
  • SHEA Water Qualification (desirable).
  • EUSR Qualification (hygiene card).
  • Experience working in the Water Industry.
  • Right to work and live in the UK.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • NRSWA Streetworks Qualification.
  • Machine Excavator qualification.
  • Dumper qualification (desirable).
  • CSCS Card (or equivalent) (desirable).
  • Deep Excavation Training (desirable).
  • Confined Spaces Training (desirable).
