Job Title: Revenues & Benefits Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenues & Benefits Control Manager to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service in accordance with legislative requirements, service plans, and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Control Team to ensure the delivery of the service in accordance with legislative requirements, service plans, and policy requirements.
  • Oversee the management of the Council's IT providers to ensure batch jobs, subsidy reporting, direct debits, and integrity errors are scheduled and run on time.
  • Be responsible for system testing and provide training on new software and releases as required.
  • Manage the continual development of staff in conjunction with the Revenues and Benefit Management team, ensuring appropriate levels of training and development take place across the service.
  • Be responsible for the performance management of the team, including appraisals and managing employee relations.
Requirements:
  • High-level knowledge of Council Tax and/or Business Rates IT Systems.
  • High-level knowledge of monitoring contracts and measuring performance.
  • Experience of managing, motivating, and developing staff within a Revenues, Benefits, or similar environment.
