NHS Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled dietitian to join our paediatric dietetic team at Newcastle Hospitals. As a rotational paediatric dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work in various specialist areas, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality dietetic service
- Take part in student training and supervision
- Contribute to research and audit
- Work effectively as part of the MDT
Requirements
- Degree in Dietetics or Science/Nutrition Degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics
- Evidence of specialist training or validated qualification in one or more speciality areas
- Basic counselling skills or training in cognitive behaviour therapy
- Teaching certificate
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or similar
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative working environment.
