Job Overview
Lincolnshire and District Medical Services (LADMS) is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician, your primary focus will be on leading improvements to maximize safe and cost-effective best practice in prescribing. You will work closely with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that medication is used effectively and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Undertaking medicines reconciliation in accordance with practice protocols and updating patient records accordingly.
  2. Providing advice to medical staff, administrative staff, and patients on changes to prescribing, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Supporting the delivery of good care by helping patients get the best outcomes from taking their medicines.

Requirements
To succeed as a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician, you will need to have current GPhC registration and relevant experience working in General Practice or a similar setting. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work flexibly across hours of work when required. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
