Residential Support Worker

Hexagon Care Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at West Stonegate House, a 3-bedded home for girls in Low Bentham.
About the RoleWe are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to young people in a safe and stable living environment. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a positive and relaxed home environment, where young people feel safe, supported, and listened to.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of young people are met.
- Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, to ensure the home is staffed at all times.
- Collaborate with the psychology team and other professionals to provide therapeutic support and interventions.
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with children or young people.
- Ability to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
