About the Role

Sanctuary Supported Living is currently seeking a skilled Project Worker to join our team at our Homelessness Service in Great Yarmouth.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with adults who have experienced homelessness, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and live independently.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide one-to-one support to customers, helping them to set and achieve personal goals.
  • To promote safety and well-being by conducting risk assessments and reviewing customer needs.
  • To develop strong relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are maintained.
  • To deliver small group activities promoting recovery and well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly those who have experienced homelessness.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing priorities.

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour, 25 days paid holiday rising to 30 days after 5 years' service, and a range of benefits including a pension scheme, online discounts, and health and well-being plans.
