Support Worker for Child with Anxiety and OCD

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a family who require additional support due to their child's anxiety and OCD. We are looking for a Support Worker who can provide a caring and understanding presence in the home.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the woman and her daughter, including assistance with daily living tasks, social activities, and managing the daughter's anxiety and OCD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and understanding to the family
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation
  • Plan and participate in social activities with the family
  • Support the daughter in managing her anxiety and OCD
Requirements:
  • Empathetic and understanding nature
  • Reliable and trustworthy individual
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • Flexibility in schedule and tasks
  • Dog-friendly environment
Working Conditions:
  • 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
  • Flexible working hours negotiable at interview
  • £11.68 per hour
Additional Requirements:
  • Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
  • Satisfactory references from two referees
  • Access to free Careskills training
