Pharmacy Services Role

Liverpool Women's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team and deliver a comprehensive and cost-effective pharmaceutical service to our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with experience in providing advice and guidance to healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for participating in the development of a clinically orientated pharmacy service linked to our specialist area, and performing the professional role of a registered pharmacist.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.

Role Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy department and developing a clinically orientated pharmacy service.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients, and participate in the development of new services and initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Deliver a comprehensive and safe pharmaceutical service to our patients.
  • Participate in the development of a clinically orientated pharmacy service linked to our specialist area.
  • Perform the professional role of a registered pharmacist, including advice, supervision, cooperation, problem-solving, and training and support of colleagues.
  • At least 3 years' clinical experience within a pharmacy setting.
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy, plus successful completion of pre-registration training year (or earlier equivalent).
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Prescribing Qualification.
