About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Assurance Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit practice, you'll play a crucial role in evaluating the risks associated with technology for businesses across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate IT-related risks
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of risk management practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, including Blockchain, AI, and RPA
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in IT General Controls and Business Process Control
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and its application in external audits
  • Ability to interpret financial audit impact of IT risks and control weaknesses
  • Experience in cyber risk management and business resilience
  • IT system implementation risks and controls
  • IT Governance and IT Compliance Reviews
  • Service Auditor Reporting
