At JHP Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking a talented Science Journalist/Writer/Meteorologist to join our team as a Weather Journalist. This exciting role involves communicating the daily weather forecast and delivering authoritative weather content.

This is a full-time position, typically working 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday in our Exeter-based office. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to be based in the office but are open to hybrid working arrangements.

About this Role:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality weather forecasts for various media channels and partners
  • Collaborate closely with the Press Office and Content Team to scope, test, and deliver written weather forecasts

The perfect candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in writing engaging content. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
