Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Weather Forecaster to join our team at JHP Recruitment Ltd. This full-time, 6-12 month contract is based in Exeter and offers an excellent opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meteorology and experience in delivering weather forecasts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating daily weather forecasts, developing effective content strategies, and increasing the reach and engagement of written content across direct channels and with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily written weather forecasts and scope opportunities to increase their reach and impact within the media and public.
  • Work closely with the Press Office and Content Team to develop and implement effective content strategies.
Working Hours and Benefits:

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Ideally office-based, but may consider hybrid working arrangements.

We offer a competitive salary range between £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, making this an attractive opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take their career to the next level.
