About the Role

The Met Office is seeking an Engineer to join our Radar Hardware Team and contribute to the development of our weather radar systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, implementation, and testing of radar hardware components, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our weather forecasting systems.

As a Radar Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing modifications to existing radar equipment

  • Drafting test and assembly instructions for other engineers
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Collaborating with the Radar Hardware Team to achieve project goals
